Next to each car photo is a link entitled ''IMPORTANT INFORMATION''. Here it will say if the supplier accepts debit cards. Sometimes, on the search results page where you are viewing the available cars, scroll down and on the left-hand side menu often there is a tick box which you can filter the results for suppliers that do accept debit cards.

Thrifty for example, say this :- These funds will not be available for your use for the duration of the rental. We will place an authorization amount of $200 for a Major Credit Card and (effective April 1st) $500 for a Debit Check Card, plus the cost of the rental.
